FATE vs. Wizards Preview & Prediction - Free CS:GO Betting Picks 7/8

FATE and Wizards will meet in the Swiss round 3 (teams with a 1-1 record) of the Nine to Five 1, and FATE are favorites in this Best of 3 duels. These teams have never met so far.

The Bulgarian team FATE didn’t have a tough job against Izako Boars in the opening match of the tournament even though they lost a map along the way. However, Syman proved to be a more serious opponent in the next round, and FATE failed to win a map in a loss. FATE lost five of the previous six matches and have a 52.0% win rate over the past three months. FATE performed well on Train (69.6%) and Overpass (60.0%), but are without a win on Nuke, while they have been below average on Vertigo (37.5%).

Wizards assembled a new lineup prior to this tournament and needed to win two games over Excellency and 9INE to reach the main event. The European team beat HONORIS 2-1 in the first match here but then won only 16 rounds in a 2-0 loss to SG.pro. Wizards won three of the last four matches and has a 50.0% win rate in the last three months. In that span, Wizards have been invincible on Dust2 and played well on Mirage (66.7%), but didn’t taste a victory on Inferno, Train, and Vertigo.

Pick: FATE to win (-179 @PINNACLE)

FATE must bounce back from a 2-0 loss to Syman and I am backing them to beat the worst-ranked team at the tournament. Wizards played well in the qualifying stage and against HONORIS in the opener, but SG.pro put them in their place, and I am backing FATE to do the same here. Although they do have a slight chance, I don’t think Wizards can get more than a map.
